The Company were delighted to receive a special invitation over the summer for 12 boys from Junior and Company Sections to attend a guided tour of HMS Duncan – the Royal Navy’s most technically advanced Warship. HMS Duncan was on its maiden voyage to Belfast. The boys got to see all around the ship from the bridge to the weapons room, missile silos and even the sleeping quarters. The visit gave everyone a great insight into what life on board a naval ship would be like, and the sacrifices that our armed forces personnel give as part of their daily lives. We would like to thank the Royal Navy for inviting us to the ship and for the time and effort they put in to making it a very interesting tour.
