Our theme for Anchors this year is the Fruit of the Spirit. Throughout the year we are teaching the boys what the fruits are and how we can use these fruits in our lives.
Love
Our first fruit was ‘love’ represented by the strawberry. The boys had great fun making a gift of chocolate covered strawberries to give to someone special. We hope the mums and dads enjoyed their gift.
Peace
The Anchors had great fun listening to the story from Mark’s gospel of how Jesus calmed the storm. The disciples were so afraid of the raging storm, but Jesus had the power to calm the storm. If we trust in Jesus, he can calm the storms in our lives and give us a peace that lasts forever.
